I'm sorry! D: I didn't mean it like that... One thing I've always wondered is whether learning colors as a child was different for you. Also, have you read "A Mango Shaped Space"?

You’re fine!!! No, learning colors was normal for me. I know what colors are what- I just put them with words/letters/numbers. And I have a great story about that book.
In 7th grade, I went to the library after my religion exam, and saw that book. I read the entire thing, and realized that I had Synesthesia. You have to remember that back then, I thought that seeing A as yellow and 2 as turquoise was normal. That book was my gateway to this amazing world. It was then that I knew I was different, that not everyone saw letters in color. But a lot of people didn’t believe me. They said that I was making things up to get attention. Luckily, I had that book to give to people, to show them that it was a real condition. Because of it, I was able to educate a lot of my friends about Synesthesia, and a few of them found out that they had it, too :D
